Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher, with LBS1 endorsement required
• Experience working in school settings, preferably with diverse learner populations

• Adaptable approach to lesson planning and instructional strategies
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
• Ability to manage caseloads and maintain required documentation efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Employ a variety of teaching strategies and accommodations to support student progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure inclusive classroom practices
• Communicate regularly with families about student achievements and challenges
• Track and document student progress, participating in IEP meetings and evaluations as needed
• Maintain a safe and encouraging classroom environment
