ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled OT to join our team and provide essential therapy services in a school setting. This role offers the chance to support students across various grade levels and help them reach their full potential. Your Impact: Role: Full-time position in a vibrant school environment. Setting: Onsite, working across district schools. Caseload: Approximately 45 students district-wide, with collaboration with other OTs. Focus: Delivering both direct and indirect therapy services to enhance students' functional abilities. What You'll Do: Assess and Plan: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans. Intervene and Support: Provide direct therapy sessions and collaborate on indirect services. Collaborate: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy into students educational experiences. Monitor and Adjust: Track student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed. Engage: Deliver engaging therapy tailored to the needs of each student. A Day in the Life: Begin your day by connecting with students and staff, addressing their therapy needs. Mornings may involve one-on-one sessions or indirect services, while afternoons will be dedicated to therapy, collaboration with educators, and planning. You will also participate in professional development and team meetings. What We're Looking For: Licensure: Active Occupational Therapist license in California. Experience: Previous experience in school settings is highly valued. Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with a passion for improving students' functional abilities.
