Senior Data Analyst for Lab Production Support, Extended-Hours Support (ExHS)
Natera
Senior Data Analyst role supporting lab production operations at a genomics and precision medicine company. The position works rotating weekend shifts and applies statistical analysis and automation to resolve operational issues, improve turnaround times, and drive continuous improvement in diagnostic testing environments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver timely data analysis support to lab operations teams to unblock production issues and accelerate patient results
- Apply statistical methods to diagnose operational issues and support data-driven decision-making
- Design and implement automated solutions for recurring data workflows to improve efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with Lab Operations and Product teams on root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives
- Train junior team members on new technologies, procedures, and best practices
Requirements
- Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of data analysis, extraction, and querying in production support roles
- Minimum 3 years of experience in regulated environments (CLIA and/or FDA compliant)
- Proficiency in statistical techniques and exploratory data analysis
- Ability to design and implement automated data analysis solutions
- Strong documentation and knowledge transfer capabilities
