Full-Time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team at Kinetic Physical Therapy Clinic in Winchester, Virginia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming the lives of patients by helping them regain movement, improve functional capabilities, and achieve their personal health goals. You will focus on orthopedic outpatient care, working closely with each patient to develop and implement customized rehabilitation plans.

Kinetic Physical Therapy Clinic is a leading orthopedic outpatient practice located within a modern 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility in Winchester, VA. Our clinic is committed to providing high-quality physical therapy services tailored to our patients' unique needs. We prioritize evidence-based treatment methodologies and foster a collaborative team environment that includes two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, all dedicated to delivering superior care to our clientele.

Work Environment

As an onsite rehabilitation facility, our clinic emphasizes a supportive and empowering work atmosphere where teamwork is prioritized. Operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, our physical therapists maintain a schedule that allows for ample time with each patient—typically limited to one patient per hour. This structure enables you to focus on providing personalized attention and effective treatment interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and understand each patient's specific goals and needs to tailor treatment approaches effectively.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine a patient's baseline capabilities and design appropriate treatment plans.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure focused, high-quality care.
• Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic interventions to help patients recover and enhance mobility.
• Create and adapt exercises and rehabilitation programs based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Document patient progress accurately and consistently, ensuring all records are maintained in compliance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and share insights on patient progress.
• Monitor treatment outcomes regularly, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients who carry private medical insurance, focusing on those referred for orthopedic rehabilitation. This diverse patient population includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility and function. Your role is pivotal in providing them with the necessary tools and support to foster their recovery journey, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, free from any disciplinary actions or board incidents.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy skills and the development of exercise programs to address varying patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly with WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience in implementing evidence-based practices for successful patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Kinetic Physical Therapy Clinic offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
