Experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Role in Home Care

Integrity Physical Therapy is seeking a skilled and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Winchester, Virginia. This full-time position requires a focus on orthopedic outpatient practices and home care settings. Work Environment

This position is based onsite, with a focus on providing home care services to ensure flexible treatment options for our clients. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent and balanced work-life environment. Our team consists of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all dedicated to fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish a compassionate rapport with patients to effectively identify and address their rehabilitation goals and requirements.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, conducting thorough evaluations and developing personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize your orthopedic outpatient experience to administer evidence-based rehabilitation techniques and interventions.
• Design and implement cost-effective treatment strategies that effectively improve patients' range of motion and functional mobility.
• Focus on reducing patients' reliance on medications and exploring alternatives to surgical interventions.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that integrate various therapeutic approaches, including manual therapy and exercise protocols.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs suited to the individual needs of each patient, promoting overall wellbeing.
• Deliver high-quality, personalized care that adheres to the latest clinical standards and evidence-based practices.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment process, optimizing their functional outcomes.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by enhancing key areas such as strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and recovery.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes, monitor patient progress, and maintain comprehensive documentation of care services delivered.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and mobility challenges. Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Possess a valid Virginia license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Maintain a clean professional record, free of board or disciplinary actions.
• Exhibit strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Demonstrate exceptional skill in developing and implementing exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Have experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant work experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with diverse patient populations is a plus, enhancing your capability to provide targeted care.

Compensation and Benefits
