Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, limitations, and needs to create individualized treatment plans that promote recovery and enhance mobility.
• Provide ongoing consultations to healthcare providers regarding the patient's continuum of care, ensuring seamless transitions between different levels of therapy.
• Maintain high standards of professional interaction with patients, demonstrating respect for diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Implement treatment plans effectively, re-evaluating progress and making necessary adjustments while educating patients and their families on treatment protocols.
• Document all treatment activities accurately, adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies, while ensuring timely submission of service charges.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuous education programs to stay updated on best practices and innovations in physical therapy.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including physical therapy assistants and aides, ensuring compliance with treatment plans and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Amedisys, you will work predominantly with a diverse patient population who may be experiencing challenges due to orthopedic conditions, chronic illnesses, or post-surgical recovery. Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
