Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including a comprehensive review of medical history, performance of physical assessments, and documentation of findings.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect evaluation findings and align with the interdisciplinary healthcare framework.

• Effectively communicate evaluation results and treatment plans to patients and their families, engaging them in the goal-setting process.

• Implement treatment protocols tailored to each patient's unique needs while adapting strategies as necessary based on patient feedback and ongoing assessments.

• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatment, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, progress summaries, and discharge plans.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, making referrals for consultations or additional interventions when necessary.

• Foster a positive patient experience through effective time management and adherence to productivity expectations.

• Contribute to departmental objectives and initiatives, including participation in community outreach and marketing activities to raise awareness of our services.

• Stay committed to ongoing professional development by pursuing continuing education opportunities and serving as a clinical instructor for students as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and those managing chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.

Compensation and Benefits
