Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will engage in a variety of essential tasks, including:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to evaluate their physical conditions and symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction and creating tailored treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain and enhancing mobility.
• Instructing patients in appropriate therapeutic exercises and techniques, ensuring they understand how to practice them effectively for maximum benefit.
• Administering hands-on therapies such as stimulation or massage to foster healing and recovery.
• Helping patients navigate the proper use of assistive equipment like wheelchairs or walkers to facilitate independence.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• A current and valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills needed for documentation and patient record management.

Preferred Experience
