Work Environment

This role is primarily focused on home care services in the Winchester, Virginia area, allowing you to engage closely with patients in their own environments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, identifying their specific needs and designing customized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, utilizing appropriate modalities and exercise programs tailored to each patient's conditions—whether they are recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, or pediatric conditions.
• Monitor and assess patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal care delivery.
• Facilitate understanding of treatment protocols by consulting and training patients and their caregivers, empowering them in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years experience in the field, with demonstrable success in patient outcomes and care delivery.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, caregivers, and team members.
