Work Environment

This position is an onsite role, primarily within the home care setting, allowing you to work directly with patients in their own environments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine each patient's individual needs and develop customized physical therapy programs.
• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, and exercise prescription, tailored to the orthopedic conditions of each patient.
• Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, rehabilitation processes, and exercises to enhance recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a program accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Exceptional competency in manual therapy techniques and soft tissue mobilization.
• Demonstrated strong assessment skills applicable to a Direct Access practice model.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your skills and experience.
