Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patients' physical condition and medical histories to determine appropriate therapeutic approaches.
• Designing, implementing, and adjusting individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Delivering hands-on therapies to aid recovery while utilizing advanced modalities and techniques.
• Maintaining clear and consistent communication with patients and their families regarding treatment progress and expectations.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Documenting patient progress and treatment modifications thoroughly and accurately to comply with regulatory standards.
• Providing education to patients and caregivers about injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications.
• Meeting minimum utilization goals and contributing to the clinic's overall success and operational objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily treat orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries or managing chronic pain. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to engage with pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. Our holistic approach ensures that every client receives thorough assessments and personalized interventions aimed at restoring function and enhancing mobility.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
• A Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• A compassionate demeanor with a commitment to building strong relationships with patients and the broader community.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preferred candidates will have experience in treating diverse patient populations and using advanced therapeutic modalities. A proven track record in driving patient satisfaction and achieving functional goal outcomes will be a significant advantage in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a strong salary package, our benefits include:
