Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients by compiling comprehensive medical histories, conducting thorough assessments, and determining therapeutic goals in collaboration with referring physicians.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that include hands-on therapy, exercises, and modalities to enhance mobility and function.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions at the rehabilitation facility, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional service and patient satisfaction.
• Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes according to evidence-based practices.
• Guide, educate, and support patients and caregivers regarding rehabilitation procedures, self-management strategies, and preventative care.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists and physician staff, to create a holistic approach to patient well-being.
• Achieve established patient utilization goals while contributing to the business objectives of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to treat a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, pediatric conditions, and sports-related injuries. You will play a vital role in helping patients regain functional independence, enhance mobility, and improve their quality of life across all demographics.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) as granted by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a demonstrated ability to work proficiently with various patient populations.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific conditions such as post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and neurological rehabilitation is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with pain management protocols and therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
