The RoleLegora has grown from 40 to 900 people in 18 months, and there are more than 40 open executive searches running right now. The roles that define how the organization is built, Director and above, need a dedicated owner.Based in New York, you'll join the Head of Executive Recruiting to shape how Legora hires its leaders, owning Director-level hiring across every function while getting close exposure to the most senior searches in the company.You're not inheriting a process or playbook for leadership hiring. You're building one.What You'll DoOwn end-to-end executive search for Director-level and above roles across Legora's functions globally, running processes that are rigorous and hold a high talent bar.Partner with external executive search firms on select senior hires, making sure they hire to the same standards whether the process runs internally or externally.Put in place the scorecards, assessment frameworks, and candidate experience that make senior hiring work at scale, from the ground up.Build relationships across the investor talent community, surfacing senior talent and staying close to the best leaders in the market.Develop a strong external network across your functions and geographies, forming relationships with senior talent before there's an open role, not after.Raise the standard on senior hiring across the broader TA team, sharing what you learn and supporting recruiters on complex searches.Partner with reward, legal, and people operations so offer processes for your hires move with the speed and discretion candidates at this level expect.What You BringYou've built a track record in executive recruiting in-house at a high-growth, VC-backed tech company, hiring at Director level and understanding why that process needs to feel different: how you engage candidates, how you manage stakeholders through something confidential.You can hold a credible conversation with senior leaders about how their function should be built and what strong leadership looks like in it.You've either got relationships in the investor talent community already or a track record of building them fast, and you know how to brief and manage external search firms rather than just hand a role over.Trust is your currency.
