About the Position

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner | Colorado

Location: Colorado

Schedule: Ongoing per diem day shifts

Openings: 1

Position Overview

• Outpatient primary care and corporate wellness coverage for employees and eligible family members.
• Focus on wellness and prevention, acute episodic care, and chronic condition management.
• May include occupational health and work related injury evaluation and return to work determinations as needed.

Clinical Scope

• Ages seen: 2 years and older (must be approved to see ages 2 plus).
• Common cases include upper respiratory complaints, minor acute issues, preventive visits, and primary care follow ups.
• No pain management.
• EMR: Athena experience preferred (training provided).

Required Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner (FNP preferred). Physician and advanced practice providers may be considered when documented and approved for the clinic.
• National certification as applicable.
• Active state license in Colorado.
• DEA required.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Onboarding

• Paid clinic shadowing may be requested prior to independent coverage.
• Required compliance trainings must be completed prior to start (paid per client guidelines).
