Ivy Vet is a modern, privately owned veterinary clinic located in the Irving Park Neighborhood of Chicago. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized gold-standard care. Our team prides itself on practicing medicine with integrity and fostering a welcoming environment for patients, clients and team members. We emphasize preventative medicine and personalized treatment plans, all supported by a collaborative workplace culture.
Position Overview
We are seeking a kind and motivated Client Care Coordinator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about veterinary medicine and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet pet parents and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments
- Check clients in and out, process payments, and manage invoices
- Maintain accurate client and patient medical records
- Coordinate communication between veterinarians, technicians, and pet owners
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and inviting
- Educate clients on preventative pet care and post-treatment instructions
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous customer service experience in an animal care setting preferred
- Comfortable working around dogs and cats in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction and constructive feedback from teammates
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting
- Compassionate, team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
- Familiarity with veterinary practice management software is a plus
