As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Specialist in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while putting people first in a caring culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site protocols, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing required reports, logs, and other security-related documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
