Salary Range: $41,000 - $61,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and record incoming shipments against purchase orders, noting discrepancies.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and creating shipping documents.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move materials within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and system updates.
• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage or defects and report issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Valid forklift certification and demonstrated safe operation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation (BOLs, packing slips)

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management.
• Forklift certification with experience operating various types of lift equipment.
• Proficiency in using barcode scanning systems and related software.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
