The Role

The Kitchen Manager runs the Heart of the House. This is the person who sets the pace of the shift, keeps the line running clean and consistent, and coaches the BOH team to hit our food quality standards on every ticket. It's a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes real pride in food quality, thrives under volume, and wants to build a kitchen team that actually wants to be there.

What You'll Do

• Set the pace and standard for the shift as the senior kitchen leader on the floor
• Manage the menu and inventory so the kitchen always has fresh product without running out
• Run thorough, consistent line checks to maintain food quality and consistency across every shift
• Coach and teach BOH teammates in real time, building a stronger kitchen team day over day
• Oversee prep and cook processes to protect the from-scratch quality the brand is known for
• Manage food cost, waste, and ordering to hit budget targets without sacrificing quality
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards across the kitchen
• Partner closely with FOH leadership to keep ticket times and communication tight between the back and front of house
• Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff and Assistant Kitchen Managers
• Give real-time, authentic coaching and recognition to build a team that stays and grows

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of BOH/kitchen management experience in a high-volume restaurant environment
• Strong food cost, inventory, and line management skills
• A hands-on leadership style: someone who leads from the line, not just the office
• A genuine passion for food quality and consistency, not just getting through the shift
• Ability to train and develop a team, with a track record of staff retention
• Comfort in a fast-paced, from-scratch kitchen with real volume
• Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
