Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, considering each student's personal history, current concerns, and unique risk factors to identify their specific needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in conjunction with students, aiming to address mental health challenges and promote emotional resilience within the school context.

• Engage in evidence-based therapeutic practices, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to assist students with a wide array of issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions focused on emotional regulation, personal development, and effective coping strategies, creating safe spaces for students to explore their feelings.

• Partner with psychiatrists, psychologists, and nursing staff to ensure a comprehensive care model that addresses physical, emotional, and academic needs of the students.

• Respond promptly to crisis situations by employing de-escalation techniques and making necessary referrals for students requiring more intensive interventions.

• Provide psychoeducation workshops for students and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health and available resources.

• Keep precise and timely documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, and session notes in adherence to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in team-based discussions and clinical meetings to collectively enhance service delivery and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Stay abreast of latest developments in mental health legislation and practice guidelines pertinent to school environments.

This role focuses primarily on serving a diverse population of students within the school system, ranging in ages from elementary to high school. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active LCSW licensure in the state of Nevada.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, ideally in mental health or educational settings.

• Experienced in conducting mental health assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing effective treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
