We are currently recruiting a Physician | OB/GYN for a prominent medical center in Richmond, VA .


Job Description


Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, etc.), FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, OB ultrasounds - performance of interpretation, OB ultrasounds - performance of Level I/screening (viability), seasoned techs completing scans for provider reads

Routine delivery - vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section, complicated delivery - C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc., VBACs, repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Office/minor gynecology - IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc., surgical gynecology - open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOAs, chromal tubation, operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN [REQUIRED]
• Active VA license (or willing to obtain) [REQUIRED]
• A Self-Query NPDB report is required at the time of presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) [REQUIRED]
• BLS/ACLS [REQUIRED]
• Provider Must be Local - Only Mileage is Reimbursed [REQUIRED]
• ADD note that they must state where the provider is traveling from at time of name clear [REQUIRED]
• Clean MP [HIGHLY PREFERRED] - Site is unable to accept candidates with pending claims.
