Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A community pharmacist position is available to provide pharmaceutical care at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) operating under the 340B program. This contract role primarily supports retail pharmacy services within the MicroMerchant/PrimeRx system.

Responsibilities include verifying prescriptions, dispensing medications, counseling patients, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. You will serve a diverse patient population, with a focus on providing compassionate and culturally competent care.

Key Details:

• Location: Newark, NJ
• Pharmacy Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday
• Contract Duration: November 2nd through November 14th
• Setting: FQHC / 340B pharmacy program
• System: MicroMerchant / PrimeRx

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Pharmacist License
• Experience in community or retail pharmacy practice
• Familiarity with FQHC / 340B programs is preferred but not required
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills highly preferred to support Spanish-speaking patients
• Experience with MicroMerchant / PrimeRx systems is a plus but not mandatory
