Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Community Pharmacist working within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting that participates in the 340B Drug Pricing Program. The role is based in Newark, NJ, with a PRN (per diem) schedule.

Schedule:

• Must be available one consistent weekday each week
• Every other Saturday required
• Pharmacy hours are 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Saturday

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide medication counseling and patient education, particularly to a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with healthcare providers within the FQHC to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with 340B program requirements and record-keeping
• Utilize pharmacy management systems for prescription processing and inventory control

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in New Jersey
• Experience in community or retail pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with 340B program and FQHC operations is preferred but not required
• Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) highly preferred due to a large Spanish-speaking patient base
• Experience with MicroMerchant and/or PrimeRx pharmacy systems is a plus but not mandatory
