Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Community Pharmacist position working within an FQHC / 340B setting. The role involves providing pharmacy services in a retail environment using the MicroMerchant and PrimeRx systems. The assignment begins November 2nd with a planned end date of November 14th. Coverage is needed as soon as possible to support pharmacy operations Monday through Saturday during regular business hours.

Location:

• Newark, NJ

Schedule:

• Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients on proper use
• Manage pharmaceutical inventory and ensure compliance with 340B program requirements
• Provide excellent customer service to a diverse patient population, including Spanish speakers
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes within the FQHC setting
• Utilize MicroMerchant and PrimeRx systems for prescription processing (training available as needed)

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey Pharmacist license
• Experience in community or retail pharmacy practice required
• Previous experience working in FQHC or with 340B programs is preferred but not required
• Bilingual English-Spanish skills highly preferred to serve a predominantly Spanish-speaking patient base
• Familiarity with MicroMerchant and PrimeRx software is a plus
