About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Information Technology Services to join its executive leadership team. This newly created role is pivotal in the organization's commitment to investing in its future and will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-year technology strategy that aligns with the company's mission and long-term goals. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation and optimization of enterprise platforms, with a focus on modern, cloud-based, and SaaS technologies. Strategic technology leadership, financial and vendor management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks are key aspects of the position. The VP of IT will also be a team leader, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth, and will serve as a trusted partner, leading with humility and a service-oriented mindset. Candidates for the VP of Information Technology role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in technology leadership. Experience in higher education, accreditation, healthcare, or nonprofit organizations is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading enterprise technology functions, driving organizational change, and managing large-scale transitions. They should be well-versed in cloud-based technologies, including Microsoft 365 and Salesforce, and have a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks. Personal characteristics of the ideal candidate include being a collaborative, business-minded leader with high emotional intelligence, and a strategic yet hands-on approach to technology management.
