The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing a long-term engineering modernization strategy, leading the transformation of legacy applications into modern cloud-native architectures, and driving the enterprise adoption of AI-assisted software engineering. This role is pivotal in the organization's goal to build an AI-first engineering culture, with a focus on automation, developer productivity, and engineering excellence. The VP of Engineering will also be tasked with modernizing application architecture, improving software delivery through Agile and DevOps practices, and aligning technology investments with the business strategy. Applicants for the Vice President of Engineering position at the company should possess extensive executive-level software engineering leadership experience and a proven track record in leading enterprise application modernization initiatives. A strong background in Java-based enterprise software development, experience with Python, and deep expertise in designing cloud-native platforms and distributed systems are essential.
