DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS / ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR - ATLANTIC ALLCARE, INC.

Deerfield Beach and West Palm Beach, FL | Full-Time | Immediate Opening

 

 

The Role

This is a dual-mandate leadership position. You will own both the operational infrastructure of the agency and the business development function - building referral relationships with hospital discharge planners, elder law attorneys, geriatric care managers, social workers, VA contacts, and community organizations while simultaneously having oversight for administrative operations, including scheduling, recruitment, client experience, caregiver relations, and administrative operations. This is a growth leadership role with operational accountability.

 

Primary Responsibilities - Operational Leadership and Business Development

Assume oversight of day-to-day operations. Execute of outlined targets and performance improvement initiatives. Ensure retention and development of existing staff members. Oversee accounts receivable and collections in coordination with the bookkeeper and billing staff. Maintain CHAP accreditation standards and AHCA compliance across both county licenses. Supervise administrative staff and coordinate with the Director of Nursing on care quality and staffing. Build and manage referral relationships with hospital discharge planners, elder law attorneys, professional guardians, geriatric care managers, LTCI brokers, and VA community care contacts. Represent Atlantic AllCare at community events, hospital outreach visits, and professional association meetings. Track all referral activity and pipeline in HubSpot.

 

Compensation

This is full-time salaried position with a base plus bonus structure. The candidate will also be eligible to participate in performance-based bonus structure tied to referral growth and operational targets.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of home care or home health management experience in Florida.
  • Demonstrated experience building referral relationships with hospital social workers, discharge planners, or elder law networks.
  • Proficiency with AHCA licensing requirements and CHAP accreditation standards.
  • Experience with WellSky or comparable home care software preferred.
  • Strong communicator who can represent the agency professionally in clinical and community settings.
  • Self-directed, organized, and comfortable holding yourself and others accountable to measurable outcomes.
  • Strong Operations Management skills, including process improvement, workflow optimization, and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret data, track key performance indicators, and make informed operational decisions.
  • Experience with Budgeting, financial oversight, and resource allocation in a healthcare or home health setting.
  • Excellent Customer experience abilities, with a focus on client, family, and referral source satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
  • Prior leadership experience in home health, hospice, or related healthcare environment strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or a related field preferred; relevant licensure or certification is a plus.
