Job Responsibilities

• Craft Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create tailored therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functioning, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their families about therapy techniques to facilitate continued progress at home
• Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor patient developments and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure they remain on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement for continuing education and post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
