Overview
TalentFish is hiring a high-energy and detail-oriented Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator ! This is a full-time hire opportunity with our premier manufacturing client in Northfield, IL. This role will serve as the first point of contact for our client’s customers, helping them schedule appointments, resolve issues, and remain informed throughout their service process.

What You Bring to the Role

• Strong customer service skills, including phone and in-person communication skills.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a structured environment and collaborate with a diverse team.
• Results-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a service or dispatching role.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains or ACT! CRM.

What You'll Do

• Provide excellent customer service by phone and email.
• Accurately understand customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate technician assignments based on skill set and availability.
• Dispatch technicians to job sites and monitor work progress.
• Communicate job-status updates to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain and update customer records and service history.
• Review active jobs to ensure quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
• Explain warranty policies and service coverage to customers.
• Recommend additional services or current promotions when applicable.
• Keep your work area organized and maintain a professional appearance.

Compensation and Employment
This role requires authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. The expected salary range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour or $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Candidates are required to have a valid driver's license and have ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
