Temporary Real Estate Contract Attorney
\nLocation: Remote (Preference for candidates in the Northeast)
\nDuration: 6-8+ Weeks
\nSchedule: Full-Time Hours
\nEmployment Type: Contract / Temporary
\nWe are seeking an experienced Real Estate Contract Attorney for a temporary engagement expected to last 6-8 weeks or longer . This opportunity offers a full-time schedule and the chance to support a busy legal team on a variety of real estate matters.
\nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Review, draft, and negotiate real estate related agreements and transaction documents. \n
- Provide legal support on commercial real estate transactions and financing matters. \n
- Conduct legal research and advise on real estate and property-related issues. \n
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and outside parties to facilitate transactions and ensure timely execution of agreements. \n
- Assist with due diligence and document review as needed. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. \n
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. New York bar admission is preferred but not required. \n
- Minimum 4 years of legal experience practicing in real estate law. \n
- Experience with real estate finance transactions is strongly preferred. \n
- Attorneys with experience at a title company will also be considered. \n
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. \n
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. \n
