As a Security Officer Entry Control in Walton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Monday – Friday, 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM. What You’ll Do Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor entry and exit points at the location, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to docks, warehouses, and other restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report security‑related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, loading areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location. Maintain accurate logs of visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity, and communicate security‑related information regarding arrivals, departures, and unusual activity. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience. CPR certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
