Key qualifications for this role include:

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate (required)
• Experience (or strong interest) in special education, especially working with students on the autism spectrum
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with students, colleagues, and families
• Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching methods to suit individual learning needs

You’ll be responsible for:

• Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs and academic goals
• Creating a positive atmosphere that encourages academic, social, and emotional development
• Collaborating with paraprofessional support staff (PCA) to maintain structured routine and engagement
• Tracking progress, documenting outcomes, and communicating effectively with families and support teams
• Contributing to a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom and school community

This position is full-time (Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 3:15pm) and runs through May 27, 2027, giving you the stability to build meaningful relationships and lasting positive change.
