Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, transparently communicating each phase with warmth and understanding
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes
• Handle and troubleshoot imaging equipment diligently, reporting any issues swiftly
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of procedures and patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of innovations in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
