Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound exams, including diagnostics for abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, ensuring clear and kind communication at every step.
• Work in tight collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver outstanding diagnostic imagery.
• Responsible for the operation and upkeep of ultrasound equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain meticulous patient records in the electronic health record system.
• Stay abreast of innovations in sonography practices and techniques.

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant discipline.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Ultrasound Program strongly preferred.

Essential Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
