Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 2 years of med-surg telemetry experience and KY or compact RN licensure.

Job Details

• Progressive/Acute Oncology telemetry unit,
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:30,
• 13-week assignment length,
• Floating required within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital,

Job Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required,
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,
• EKG exam certification required,
• ONS/ONCC certification preferred,
• 2 years of med-surg telemetry experience required,
• Oncology experience preferred,
• Chemo certification preferred but not required,
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias,
• Clean license history required with no prior licensure hits,

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry nursing care within an oncology patient population,
• Expected to work some winter holidays,
• Candidates must disclose all requested time off (RTO) at time of consideration, as requests made after offer will not be approved,
• Local candidates residing within 100 miles are not accepted,
• Former UK-affiliated staff must have a 6-month gap before returning as a traveler
