The Talent Acquisition Specialist is an integral member of the HR team who supports Core’s talent acquisition activities and day-to-day recruiting operations. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing key recruiting activities, providing administrative support to the TA function, and helping deliver a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. 

The TA Specialist will work closely with the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to support recruiting activities across the organization. This role provides an opportunity to develop expertise in talent acquisition while progressively assuming greater responsibility for recruiting processes, talent operations, and the day-to-day administration of Core’s co-employment partnerships. 

Essential Duties:

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Support

• Support the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner with recruiting activities for corporate and other designated positions.
• Coordinate recruiting activities across requisitions and business groups, including interview scheduling, candidate logistics, follow-up, disposition, and timely candidate communication.
• Assist with job postings, candidate tracking, offer documentation, onboarding activities, and offshore recruiting administration.
• Maintain accurate candidate, requisition, and hiring data in the applicant tracking system and recruiting tools; conduct audits and escalate discrepancies as needed.
• Communicate recruiting status updates, follow-up items, and process issues to the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner and appropriate stakeholders.
• Support established recruiting strategies, workflows, and service-level expectations; monitor requisition status and recommend process improvements.
• Develop familiarity with Core’s positions, organizational structure, culture, and talent needs.
• Partner with the TA team and hiring managers to support efficient execution of the hiring process.
• Serve as a subject matter resource for the ATS, recruiting workflows, and related processes.
• Support recruiting technology enhancements, user testing, and implementation activities.

Candidate & Hiring Manager Support

• Support sourcing efforts by researching candidates, identifying prospects aligned to position requirements, conducting approved outreach, and maintaining accurate pipeline activity.
• Assist with initial candidate screening and preparation of candidate information for review by the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner.
• Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the interview and hiring process, ensuring timely communication and a positive, compliant candidate experience.
• Coordinate interviews, meetings, offers, background screening, pre-employment activities, calendars, trackers, timelines, and recruiting documentation.
• Maintain recruiting trackers and prepare basic reports and talent acquisition metrics to support workflow visibility and decision-making.
• Support the maintenance and organization of recruiting systems, tools, templates, and processes.
• Identify administrative or process issues and bring improvement opportunities to the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner.
• Assist with recruiting projects, career events, employee referral activities, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality of candidate, employee, and Company information.

Co-Employment Relationship Support

• Provide day-to-day coordination for Core’s co-employment partnership, including routine requests, documentation, open-item tracking, and timely follow-up.
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and related information between Core and the co-employment partner.
• Maintain organized documentation related to the Core’s relationship with the partner.
• Develop a working knowledge of the partner’s processes, systems, and services.
• Serve as a liaison with global co-employment partners.
• Escalate complex employee relations, compliance, legal, or other matters to the appropriate HR leader or external partner.

HR Teams & Executive Support

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, including calendars, meetings, reports, presentations, correspondence, meeting materials, action items, and follow-up.
• Provide cross-functional support to the HR team as needed.
• Support Talent Acquisition and HR projects, strategic initiatives, process improvements, best-practice implementation, and operational excellence efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of talent acquisition concepts, recruiting practices, and candidate sourcing.
• Interest in developing knowledge of broader HR operations and employment practices.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with candidates, employees, hiring managers, external partners, and stakeholders.
• Strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
• Strong relationship-building and customer-service skills.
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, sourcing tools, and other software applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to accurately maintain and communicate information.
• Ability to work independently on assigned responsibilities while knowing when to seek direction or escalate an issue.

Requirements:

  Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in talent acquisition coordination, recruiting operations, interview coordination, HR processes, or a related function.
• Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or Human Resources Information System (HRIS), preferred.
• Hybrid role, with a minimum of 3 days a week in office. The employee must have reliable access to internet.
