Key Responsibilities

• Assist the lead physician in providing Medical and General Dermatology services, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols.
• Conduct thorough skin examinations to diagnose dermatological conditions effectively, from acne to skin cancers.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with best practices and the latest dermatological research.
• Provide comprehensive patient counseling and education regarding dermatological issues, empowering patients in their treatment journey.
• Administer treatments, including but not limited to minor surgical procedures, injections, and topical therapies, across various age groups.
• Exhibit exceptional clinical and surgical skills while maintaining a comfortable and reassuring bedside manner for patients.
• Manage patient flow efficiently, adapting to the fast-paced nature of the practice without compromising care quality.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere strictly to HIPAA laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with medical staff, maintaining effective communication to ensure a cohesive approach to patient treatment.
• Engage with a diverse range of dermatological patients, developing expertise in a variety of conditions and treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies and Board Certification (PA-C) are required.
• Active Physician Assistant license to practice in the state of New York.
• Prescribing authority is necessary, demonstrating your capability to offer comprehensive treatment options.
• A genuine interest in General and Medical Dermatology, evidenced by clinical experience and patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 95,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a robust benefits package including:
