Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the supervising physician to deliver coordinated care to patients, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to dermatological issues.
• Conduct patient assessments by obtaining detailed medical histories, performing examinations, and identifying dermatological conditions.
• Deliver individualized patient care through the development and implementation of treatment plans following physician protocols.
• Assist in surgical procedures, including skin biopsies and excisions, and ensure comprehensive post-operative follow-up for all patients.
• Engage with the internal support team to coordinate care, manage appointments, and optimize patient flow within the practice.
• Document patient encounters accurately and maintain electronic health records in compliance with federal regulations and organizational standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in dermatology and improve patient care outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our dermatology clinic serves a diverse patient population, ranging from children to seniors, with a broad spectrum of skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer screenings. Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits
