Work Experience: Intermediate (Developing Skills) Work Experience Description: Ideal for students who have begun gaining relevant experience and are building their skills through internships, part-time jobs, or significant projects. Typically aimed at sophomores or juniors who have completed a combination of introductory and advanced coursework. ᅟ Job Summary Oversees users of the university swimming pool. Primary Responsibilities Currently American Red Cross Lifeguard Certified Monitor and ensure the safety of all individuals in and around the pool area Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies or incidents that may occur Perform water rescues and administer first aid or CPR as necessary Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to identify any hazards or potential risks Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool area, including regular pool cleaning duties Education High School Work Experience 3 Months General Work Experience Physical Demands Outdoor environment; must have physical ability to perform water rescue.
