Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly residents, identifying their specific mental wellness needs.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions tailored to address emotional challenges associated with aging, such as loneliness, depression, and anxiety.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate and implement personalized care plans that align with best practices in geriatric mental health.

• Provide supportive grief and loss counseling to residents and their families, particularly focused on end-of-life issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our services is the senior population, many of whom are dealing with significant life transitions, including bereavement, chronic illness, and adjustment to retirement. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
