OVERVIEW: The Communications Assistant at Boca West Country Club supports the development and execution of internal and external communications initiatives. This role involves creating content, managing social media, coordinating member communications, and assisting with branding efforts to promote club events, programs, and initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Content Creation & Management Assist in drafting and editing newsletters, member emails, and other written content. Support the creation of visual and digital content for social media, website, and promotional materials. Coordinate with departments to gather content and promote upcoming events or programs. Social Media & Digital Presence Manage and schedule posts across the club’s social media platforms. Monitor engagement and respond to member inquiries or comments as appropriate. Track social media analytics and prepare reports on performance metrics. Member & External Communications Support the production of internal newsletters, announcements, and event invitations. Assist in maintaining accurate contact lists and databases. Help coordinate public relations efforts and media outreach. Event Support & Promotion Assist with the promotion of club events, tournaments, and special initiatives. Support event logistics, including preparing promotional materials and coordinating member communication. Administrative Support Maintain communication calendars and schedules. Support branding consistency across all channels and materials. Assist with photography, videography, or other content capturing during events. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with social media platforms, MS Office, and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and branding. Knowledge of hospitality or luxury club environments is a plus.
