Workers' Compensation Paralegal - New York

A nationally recognized, award-winning plaintiff litigation firm with a proven track record representing thousands of clients in personal injury, civil litigation, and mass torts (including product liability, dangerous drugs, and defective medical products) is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling workers’ compensation cases from intake through resolution, working closely with attorneys, clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and the Workers' Compensation Board. This is a full-time, onsite role based in New York City. Responsibilities Manage a high-volume workers' compensation caseload from inception through settlement or hearing Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, correspondence, and Workers’ Compensation Board filings Maintain case calendars, deadlines, hearing schedules, and follow-ups Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, employers, and opposing counsel Obtain, review, and organize medical records, wage records, and case documentation Assist attorneys with hearing preparation, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations Track case progress and ensure timely compliance with deadlines and procedures Maintain accurate case files and case management system records Provide consistent client updates and high-quality client service Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of Workers’ Compensation Paralegal experience New York Workers’ Compensation experience preferred Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation procedures, filings, and case management Experience managing a high-volume caseload independently Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems Bilingual Spanish is a plus Self-motivated, dependable, and a team-oriented mindset Benefits Paid time off and holidays Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision) 401(k) with employer match Opportunity for long-term growth within a nationally recognized firm #J-18808-Ljbffr Analytix Solutions
