About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Partner Sales in the Americas. This role is pivotal in driving the company's growth through strategic partner ecosystems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full partner sales motion across the Americas and LATAM, with a focus on both direct and indirect channels. This is a high-impact, ownership role that involves setting regional partner sales strategy, defining operational functions, and being accountable for commercial outcomes. The AVP will lead a regional team, including Partner Sales Managers and Reseller Sales Managers, and must be adept at managing platinum-tier partner relationships. The role requires a leader who can operate across two diverse markets, one mature and direct-led, the other in an earlier stage and more reliant on indirect coverage. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B SaaS partner sales, with at least 15 years of experience, and a strong background in MarTech or adjacent SaaS ecosystems. Candidates for this role at the company should be energized by the prospect of building and refining partner sales strategies, and be comfortable operating in markets at different stages of maturity. The role demands a leader who can forge collaborative relationships, communicate with impact, and drive high performance within a blended team. Experience in defining rules of engagement between direct and indirect sales motions and resolving channel conflicts is essential. The AVP will be expected to be a true peer to VP-level sales leadership, with a focus on creating a partner strategy that is resilient and effective. A strong understanding of the commercial models of different partner types, including Agency, Technology, and Channel, is required, as is the ability to manage these relationships without conflict.
