As a Security Officer Routine Patrol in Amherst, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to document details for follow-up by site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to identify and report suspicious activity, unsecured access points, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, support badge and sign-in processes when required, and help to report unauthorized persons, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related issues to the appropriate contact.
• Assist with closing and opening procedures, observe cash-handling and customer service areas from a visible presence, and help to deter disruptions, trespassing, and/or other unwanted activity through routine observation and patrol.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
