Assembler - Full Time - 1st Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking an Assembler - Full Time - 1st Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $19.50 per hour. The core hours are 5:00am - 3:30pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: The primary function of the Assembler is to perform winding, assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and copper operations to produce complete sub-assemblies and final assembly of control equipment. Check electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies. Pack and prepare product for shipping. Build/Wire Main Breaker Units Full Mechanical Assembly of the overall structure, build/wire doors and electrical devices, build/install copper, and complete full cleanup of structures post-test to ship. Ensure that copper connections are braced to meet bracing specifications. Ensure that all clearance requirements are maintained. Install and wire electrical devices required per Bill of Material and wire diagrams and schematics. Maintain build schedule for Main Breaker production demand Work with supervisors/team leads/water spiders to elevate production issues immediately Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Perform other tasks as required. Position Criteria: Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead. Proven history of safe work habits. Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision. Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, etc. Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends.
