Accounts Receivable Associate

Location: Cincinnati, OH (45242) Job Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday-Friday | Flexible start time between 7:00 AM-8:00 AM (40 hours/week) Work Environment: 100% Onsite About the Opportunity We are partnering with a growing organization that is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to join its collaborative accounting team. Responsibilities Apply ACH, check, and credit card payments to customer accounts accurately and timely. Reconcile daily payment batches and deposits within the ERP system. Submit invoices through customer billing portals such as Coupa, Ariba, and similar platforms. Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, unapplied cash, and customer disputes. Maintain accurate customer account records and collection notes. Assist with onboarding new customers, including customer setup and portal registrations. Complete customer questionnaires and tax exemption documentation as needed. Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment inquiries. Escalate credit risks or collection concerns to management. Provide backup phone support and assist with other accounting duties as assigned. Qualifications 1-3+ years of B2B Accounts Receivable and/or Collections experience. Experience with full-cycle accounts receivable processes. Experience working with customer billing portals (Coupa, Ariba, Billtrust, or similar). Strong Microsoft Excel skills; Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP experience are a plus. Experience with ERP systems (Oracle E-Business Suite experience is a plus). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Self-motivated team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. Preferred Experience Business-to-business collections experience.
