A Level III trauma teaching hospital in Petersburg, Virginia needs a locum OB/GYN for 24-hour call coverage on December 17 through 24 and December 31, with ongoing coverage possible after that. Call runs 7a to 7a, one in four, with about 20 clinic patients on the schedule alongside it. Travel is covered.
Pay is $2,808.00 per 24-hour call day and $4,212.00 for holiday 24-hour call. Clinic time pays $217.50 an hour. The first 10 hours of callback are unpaid gratis hours already built into the daily rate, and callback after that pays $326.25 an hour. Callbacks average less than one per 24-hour shift, and the answering service screens the calls. Temporary privileges are possible for providers with a clean file.Vacancy posted 10 hours ago
