Obstetric and gynecologic patients, including labor and delivery Setting:

Hospital and OB/GYN call coverage Responsibilities:

Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage, clinic care, and obstetric and gynecologic services. Work with OBHG hospitalists, surgical assistants, and nursing staff. Maternal-Fetal Medicine handles most high-risk patients. Required Procedures:

C-sections, vaginal deliveries, suction D&C, ectopic pregnancy management, ovarian torsion, and abnormal uterine bleeding EMR System:

Epic Support Staff:

OBHG hospitalist, surgical assistants, and 3 4 nurses per shift Days Per Month:

Based on facility coverage needs; specific December dates required On-Call/Weekends:

24-hour call coverage required; weekends may be included

Submission Requirements: - Board Certified in OB/GYN; active Virginia medical license required - Active Virginia DEA and CSR; ABOG and BLS required - NPDB report
