Account Manager, SRS Government

Azenta seeks an Account Manager to sell sample repository, laboratory processing, and cold-storage services to government, public-sector, academic, and research customers. The role combines consultative selling, customer development, and sales pipeline management with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote sample repository services, biorepository operations, and cold-chain logistics to target markets
• Generate and qualify leads from marketing campaigns, referrals, government portals, and RFP opportunities
• Develop account and territory plans with target opportunities, key contacts, and pipeline tracking
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and capability presentations for existing and prospective customers
• Maintain accurate CRM records and report pipeline, sales activity, and progress against revenue targets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; science-related field preferred
• Sales, business development, or account management experience in life sciences or laboratory services
• Experience selling to government, public-sector, academic, or regulated laboratory customers preferred
• Salesforce or similar CRM platform experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer relationship building abilities
• Valid U.S. driver's license and willingness to travel for business
