Database Administrator – Oracle Applications
Relevant Experience (Yrs) - 8+ years of Oracle Apps DBA.
Technical/Functional Skills - Oracle Data Base Administration, Oracle eBS Application Administration, SOA Administration and Welogic Administration
Roles & Responsibilities - Require experience in handling 12C database and Oracle eBS R12 environment Installation of R12 EBS and Configuration Application and security patch installation Migration on EBS environments to different platform Upgrade database and application Troubleshooting jobs/forms/server bottle necks Analysis of new features and enhancements Change control management and implementation Implementing high scalable and high availability features Knowledge on monitoring database/apps, finding bottle necks, automate repetitive maintenance tasks, collecting stats, reorg of objects to reclaim space, exp/imp data and objects, patching database, techstack and application Experience on UNIX, LINUX servers is required, should have knowledge to trouble shoot issues at OS level and should have idea on finding processes consuming more resources on server Experience in managing weblogic and SOA environments Knowledge on GRC jobs monitoring Experience with GRC-AACG-PCG Must be well versed with AD utilities Cloning and patching applications and databases Must have knowledge about concurrent managers Database lock, space management, export and import of the database, performance tuning at DB and Application level Knowledge on utilizing monitoring tool OEM (Oracle Enterprise Monitoring) across the ecosystem data bases to enable standardized metrics across the board Should have ability to pick up and support customizations of Keysight, customizations around custom built connectors to boundary applications and systems Experience with performance tuning and must have capabilities to support concurrent jobs & archiving/purging Must possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Generic Managerial Skills - Experience in coordination with all relevant stakeholders
Education - Bachelor's Degree equivalent and above
