Assistant Accessories Designer

The Sak Tri-State Area (Hybrid)

If you have a passion for what you do, the company you keep, the life you live, we may be just the place for you. We are seeking a full-time Assistant Accessories Designer responsible for supporting all areas of the Design Department. 3 years of experience reporting to VP of Design.

Responsibilities:

\n

Assist VP of Design design/development & special projects from concept to production:

\n

1. Collaborate with Design on Quarterly Themes

\n

2. Organize & Create Quarterly Design Presentations in Powerpoint

\n

3. Collaborate with Design, Merchandising & Product Development on seasonal products

\n

4. Participate in Design across categories & fabrications

\n

5. Create new concepts for our fabrications in Illustrator or Photoshop

\n

6. Recolor artwork for printed fabrications in Illustrator or Photoshop

\n

7. Submit & approve Artwork, strike offs, lab dips. Communicate with overseas Teams via PLM.

\n

8. Organize and maintain samples, swatches & files

\n

\n

Qualifications

\n

1. Experience with Leather handbag design

\n

2. Experience with Prints, in natural & sustainable fabrics to be used for accessories

\n

3. Strength in Illustrator, Photoshop & Powerpoint

\n

4. Possess excellent presentation skills

\n

5. Strong Organizational & Administrative skills

\n

6. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment

\n

7. Ability to multitask a large number of projects

\n

8. Passionate about design

\n

9. Knowledge of Next Gen style

\n

10. Detail-oriented

\n

11. Enjoys working in a collaborative environment

\n

12. Passionate about sustainability

\n

13. Design degree

\n

14. Experience with WFX is a plus

\n

15. Experience with handcrafted products a plus

\n

\n
